Joel A. Schoenmeyer

Joel A. Schoenmeyer is a Forest Park-based solo attorney who practices in the areas of estate planning (wills and trusts) and probate administration (including probate litigation).

Before striking out on his own in 2001, Joel practiced estate planning and probate law at three different law firms in downtown Chicago: Sidley & Austin (now Sidley Austin LLP), Sachnoff & Weaver (now Reed Smith LLP), and Barnes & Thornburg.

Joel received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1996, and obtained his undergraduate degree (a B.A. in English with High Honors) from Michigan State University in 1992.
