Juvenile Delinquency Law

Course overview: Hon. Andrew Berman, a judge in the Cook County Juvenile Court, who before going on the bench practiced in that court, will discuss representation of juveniles who are charged with delinquency. The course will look at the philosophical and practical differences between how adults and juveniles are treated in court, and will explore the options that are available both before adjudication and after a finding of delinquency.
