Course overview: Kulmeet S. "Bob" Galhotra will discuss the formation and function of unions that represent attorneys in private law offices and public and governmental settings. Issues of management prerogative, grievances, elections, organizing, and contract negotiations will be explored. The course will look at philosophical and practical influences on unionization among lawyers.
